The park is very good for a picnic spot to have a good time with family and friends. The view of the sea would be amazing and we can access the ferries and the ship from there. The china town and station is also close to it. Whoch makes you accessible for anything you need.

Great park located right next to the water in what was historically the main area in Yokohama. Great for dates or if you have guests from overseas. Recommend jumping on the boat to take you round the harbour to Aka renga area or Yokohama station.

I love Yamashita park as it is one of the perfect family park I have been. You could see plenty of kids running in the field, couples with their babies having picnic especially during the afternoon. I had an awesome bonding with my toddler and nature as well.

Amazing view of the boats and the main buildings that represent Yokohama. Great parc to have a picnic, definitely recommend you to go there in the evening as well since the view will become even more beautiful with the many, many lights from the city you will see as the sky starts to darken.

Park is a bit small but the breeze is very welcomed. Right beside by the ship and walking distance from chinatown

Great view for dates and family time. The huge garden is great for lazying around and having some fun time. It is pretty crowded on weekends so get there early to get some good spots. As it is next to China town, there are a lot of amazing restaurants around. Don’t forget to get the bubble tea and visit the temple if you’re interested. You can always take some food from the stores around and enjoy it with the view.The sunsets here are amazing. You can take beautiful pictures in those huge gardens and with water next to you.Note- It is always windy here so be prepared with jackets as per your capacity.

Nice place. Weekend u can spend quality time with family there. Nearby harbour is there, from that landmark tower view ll b amazing. Park in front of sea with full of green Grass and color ful flowers and lady with pot in a fountain and boatings in sea, all makes ur mind refreshing. U can have good relaxing environment.

A very relaxing and breathtaking park.The view of the bay is fascinating, the colors of the sea matches so well with the sky.There is a garden too with many various exotic flowers and eye catching colors.It is a great place for sightseeing and having a picnic as the cooling sea breezes at you.You can also see ducks paddling around, however I'm pretty sure feeding is not allowed.

This park is awesome! It’s very beautiful!! You can have a break with the great view!! There are great rose garden so you can enjoy the flowers!! Usual weekend they have some festival in this park!! Everywhere in Japan there is a park. It is also a well-equipped park. Being near the sea, its beauty has increased manifold.

Relaxing place.. day time it looks really beautiful and in night it is magical. Wonderful place for relaxing. And it’s also near to chinatown .. so one can easily visit both place at the same time. I recommend to see fireworks from there . It’s wonderful.

Amazing park! Beautiful gardens, a stunning view of the sea! There’s ton of seating throughout the park and it’s an absolute must if you’re in Yokohama! There’s a Lawson at the far end of the park, but that doesn’t take away from its beauty at all. It’s right off the main street as well, but it truly feels like it’s own little world.

Beautiful waterfront park with immaculate grass and pleasant garden. It has a decidedly European feel. Definitely worth a stop after Chinatown, it’s only a short walk away.

Nice park for an afternoon stroll. Not a lot of seating, but you're at a park. Just sit on the grass. Plus, Night Walker features this park in multiple episodes. So it's got that going for it, which is nice.

A wonderful place. The gentle sea breeze, beautiful lawns and flower gardens, and an atmosphere of beauty and peace. For Filipinos like me, ( actually I'm only one quarter Filipino ), a spot of interest is the General Artemio Ricarte monument. General Ricarte fought in the Philippine Insurrection of 1898 - 1901. He was exiled to Yokohama, Japan because of his anti-American activities.

Every day we never fail to admire the whole park . Most people are seen in the park , walking with their lovely dogs , jogging , strollers with small children or pair of small furry dogs and the regulars doing a half marathon . What a beautiful to walk thru to the Red Brick Warehouse food courts , World Porters Hawaiin town with lovely Hula Hula dancers.

My family and I love this park. Lots of open space to play around in, great for picnics and an amazing view of the ocean.

Very nice place beside Yokohama Bay. Relaxing Environment. Some good management in flower garden. Someone will be mesmerized with the beauty of various flowers. You can see all the aesthetic and lighting during night of Yokohama Port. However, remember never visit in harsh weather, like windy and rainy environment. As the park is adjacent to sea, windy and rainy weather will make your visit pain-full. A convenient shop Lawson is available in the park.

Good park. Good feel to sit on benches looking at sea water.It has good view of trees, bay shore bridge, sea shore, ferries, Yokohama ferry international terminal. Usually busy with foreigners and crowded in weekends. Also saw a “HAPPY LAWSON” store in the park on west end.
